    Abstract: Pressalanine A (1), a new Michelia aristolactam, and pressalanine B (2), a new Michelia dioxoaporphine, have been isolated from Michelia compressa var. lanyuensis (Magnoliaceae), and these structures were determined on the basis of spectroscopic analysis.
